A Family Business

The Joseph Family has been breeding Labrador Retrievers for over two decades. Brian is an avid outdoorsman and bird hunter who works with the Silver Valley dogs' natural hunting ability. The entire family help socialize the Silver Valley puppies into great family pets.

We started  breeding labs after Brian rescued their first stud, Buddy, from someone  who had neglected him. He was tied him up on a short rope in a cement stall in a cow barn. Buddy was 2 years old, untrained, not housebroken and on his way to the animal shelter. Sadly, Buddy is no longer with us but his legacy lives on.

The females of Silver Valley Kennels aren't bred until their 2nd year and ONLY with acceptable ratings from OFA and only once a year after that. All the dogs are vet checked  regularly, vaccinated yearly, on year round heartworm medication and are  fed a super premium dog food specific to each dog's needs.

It is our goal to create beautiful, healthy puppies that will become perfect family pets and hunting companions
